Why do prop firms ban overnight and weekend holding, and does it hurt swing traders?
Overnight and weekend bans prevent gap risk and volatility exposure outside session hours. But swing traders rely on multi-day holds to capture larger moves. These bans force strategy changes or push traders to other firms. Do these bans unfairly hurt swing traders?
