Daily drawdown limit vs Overall drawdown limit?

Which one usually gives you more pressure during an evaluation—the Daily Drawdown limit or the Maximum Overall Drawdown? Personally, managing the daily limit on high volatility days is much trickier. How do you manage your risk around it?
