I divide my starting capital into 10 trades meaning if I loose 5 trades and win 5 trades id still be in profits E.g $10000 % 10 that's $1000 (maximum DD)
A stop loss doesn't mean your analysis was useless. Losses are part of trading, and a well-placed stop loss simply defines how much you're willing to lose when the setup fails.
