Does zooming down to a 1 minute chart to refine a 4 hour order block actually increase your risk to reward ratio?

Or just increase your execution failure rate? SMC traders refine massive supply zones down to tiny 3 pip candles on ultra low timeframes to claim massive potential risk to reward ratios. In reality, market spread and lower timeframe noise cause price to either miss the refined entry completely or stop you out immediately before respecting the higher timeframe zone. Is zone refinement an actual edge or just cherry picked hindsight?
