Is it better to master one timeframe before exploring others?

Switching between very low and very high timeframes can make it difficult to develop a consistent process. Focusing on one timeframe may help a trader understand its structure and typical opportunities. Do you recommend mastering one timeframe first, or learning to combine several from the beginning?
