MSS IS NOT JUST A LINE BREAK
A market structure shift, or MSS, is often used in ICT trading to identify a possible change in short-term directional delivery.
Imagine NAS100 sweeping a previous high, then producing strong bearish displacement through a meaningful short-term swing low.
That sequence may support a bearish scenario, especially if it aligns with your higher-timeframe narrative.
However, not every broken low is a valid MSS. Context matters.
Ask yourself what liquidity was taken, whether the move showed convincing displacement, and where price is relative to the larger dealing range.
A structure break without context can easily become another false signal
