The New York session can provide opportunities when liquidity and volatility increase.

My checklist:

✅ Establish higher-timeframe bias.
✅ Mark previous-day high and low.
✅ Identify nearby liquidity pools.
✅ Wait for a sweep and displacement.
✅ Look for an FVG retracement.
✅ Define risk before entry.

For US index futures, session timing and news releases are especially important.

The kill zone is a time window—not a guarantee of a setup.
