The 1.5% Risk Per Trade Idea Rule

Sachin Yadav

⚠️ BLUEBERRY FUNDED RISK RULE

On applicable funded accounts, the 1.5% risk-per-trade-idea rule can be a critical restriction.

It isn't necessarily 1.5% for every individual order.

Related positions on the same instrument and in the same direction may be grouped into one trade idea under the firm's rules.

Example on a $100,000 account:
1.5% = $1,500 maximum combined loss for the trade idea.

Some plans have different limits. Flex 1-Step uses 1%, while Prime has no fixed risk-per-trade-idea limit.

Know your plan before increasing position size.
