$$Expectancy = (Win\ Rate \times Avg\ Win) - (Loss\ Rate \times Avg\ Loss)$$

A strategy with a 25% win rate making 5R per win outperforms an 80% win rate making 0.5R per win. Focus on total system expectancy, not individual win rates.
