The Problem With Overtrading
More trades do not automatically mean more profit.
One mistake I see frequently in trading discussions is the belief that every market movement must offer an opportunity.
NQ can move dozens of points without providing a setup that fits your strategy.
Taking trades simply because the market is active can lead to unnecessary commissions, poor entries, and emotional fatigue.
A better question is not, "How many trades can I take today?"
It's, "How many valid opportunities did my strategy actually provide?"
If my rules produce no trade, staying flat is a legitimate decision.
Trading is not about remaining busy. It's about executing a repeatable process when the conditions justify it.
