THE IMPORTANCE OF ATR

Average True Range (ATR) is an indicator that estimates recent market volatility.

Some traders use it to help evaluate stop distances, trailing stops, or whether a price movement is relatively large.

ATR doesn't predict direction, and it shouldn't replace a complete trading plan.
