High-Volume Nodes Explained
What does a high-volume node tell you?
A high-volume node, or HVN, is an area where relatively high trading volume accumulated over the selected profile period.
It can indicate that the market conducted substantial business around those prices.
Depending on the context, an HVN may act as an area of consolidation, a reference point for future trading, or a region that price moves through repeatedly.
However, high volume does not automatically mean strong support or resistance.
I look at how price behaves when it revisits the area.
Does the market spend time there again? Does it reject the level? Does it move through without much resistance?
The profile identifies an area worth studying, not a guaranteed trading signal.
