Why I Don't Change My Strategy After Three Losses
Three losing trades don't automatically mean your strategy is broken.
Even a strategy with a genuine statistical edge can experience losing streaks.
After several losses, it's tempting to change indicators, abandon setups, or start using a completely different entry method.
But changing a strategy based on a tiny sample can make it difficult to understand what actually works.
Instead, I review whether the trades followed the rules, whether market conditions were appropriate, and whether the results fall within the strategy's expected range.
If the evidence shows a real problem, adjustments may be justified.
But I don't want to confuse normal variance with a broken strategy.
Consistency requires patience and enough data to evaluate decisions properly.
