How to Deal With FOMO After Missing a Trade
Missing a perfect-looking NQ entry can be frustrating. Chasing it can be worse.
You identify a setup, hesitate for a few seconds, and suddenly price has moved several points without you.
Now you feel pressure to enter because you don't want to miss the opportunity.
But the original entry conditions may no longer exist. Your stop could become wider, your reward-to-risk ratio could deteriorate, and the trade may no longer fit your strategy.
I remind myself that missing a trade is not the same as losing money.
If a valid new setup develops, I can evaluate it. Otherwise, I can let the move go.
Discipline sometimes means accepting that the opportunity has passed.
