The Difference Between Patience and Hesitation
Patience and hesitation can look similar, but they are not the same.
Patience means waiting for the conditions defined by your strategy.
Hesitation means having a valid setup but being unable to execute because of fear or uncertainty.
For example, if NQ reaches your level but the required order flow confirmation hasn't appeared, waiting is patience.
If every condition is satisfied and you repeatedly avoid the trade because you are afraid of another loss, that may be hesitation.
The solution isn't to force more trades.
It's to define your rules clearly, practice following them, and evaluate execution over time.
Confidence comes from understanding your process and its risks, not from trying to eliminate uncertainty from the market.
