Why I Don't Predict the Whole Trading Day
I don't need to know where NQ will close to trade today's market.
It's tempting to decide before the session begins that the market must be bullish or bearish.
Then every new piece of information gets interpreted through that prediction.
If price moves against the bias, you may start ignoring evidence that the original idea was wrong.
I prefer to prepare scenarios instead.
What if price breaks above the overnight high and holds? What if it rejects that level? What if the market remains inside the overnight range?
Each scenario gives me a framework without requiring certainty.
A good trading plan prepares for multiple outcomes instead of demanding that the market follow one forecast.
