My Biggest Lesson From Studying Order Flow
The more I study order flow, the less I want to predict every move.
Footprint charts, DOM, volume profiles, delta, and liquidity analysis can reveal useful information about market activity.
But none of them removes uncertainty.
A large buying imbalance can fail. Apparent absorption can break. A liquidity sweep can turn into a genuine breakout.
The tools are useful because they help us formulate and test ideas—not because they provide certainty.
My focus is on finding repeatable setups, defining invalidation points, managing risk, and reviewing the results objectively.
The market doesn't need to make sense on every candle.
I need a process that helps me make sensible decisions even when the outcome is uncertain.
