Choosing Your First Order Flow Platform
Choosing an order flow platform? Don't start with the most expensive one.
When I compare trading platforms, I look at what I actually need to analyze the market.
Do I need footprint charts? Detailed market depth? Volume profiles? Historical tick replay? Or just a clean chart with reliable futures data?
Different platforms specialize in different workflows.
A beginner studying bid/ask volume may need a very different setup from a trader analyzing liquidity changes through a heatmap.
Before paying for a subscription, list your requirements and check which features are included in each plan.
The best platform isn't necessarily the one with the most features.
It's the one that helps you understand the market without making your trading process unnecessarily complicated.
