Does a Currency's Global Importance Make It Easier to Trade?

Major currencies attract substantial attention and participate in deep international markets, but that does not guarantee predictable price movements. Do you find widely traded currencies easier to analyse than less prominent ones? What advantages or disadvantages have you noticed?
