While fear and FOMO are tough, revenge trading is often the most dangerous emotional trap for traders. Trying to immediately win back a loss usually leads to over-leveraging and breaking core risk rules. In prop firm trading, this is lethal: one angry session can easily breach your daily loss limit or trailing drawdown before you even realize what happened.

To combat this, successful traders build strict mechanical rules into their routine, such as a maximum daily loss cutoff that locks the platform after two consecutive losing trades.
