Why I Don't Trade to Recover Yesterday's Loss
Yesterday's loss should not determine today's position size.
Imagine you lose $300 during Monday's NQ session.
On Tuesday, you feel pressure to make that money back, so you increase your risk on the first setup.
The problem is that the new trade has no reason to deserve the extra risk.
You're allowing a previous outcome to control a new decision.
I prefer to evaluate every trade according to its own setup and my predefined risk framework.
A new session is not a repayment opportunity.
The market doesn't know what I lost yesterday, and it doesn't owe me a recovery today.
My responsibility is to make the next decision correctly.
