Why I Stop Watching Every Tick
Watching every tick can make you a worse decision-maker.
When trading NQ, every small movement can feel important if you're staring at the screen continuously.
A one-point pullback starts to look like a reversal. A brief burst of buying feels like a breakout.
You react repeatedly, even when your strategy doesn't require another decision.
I try to focus on predefined levels and conditions instead of interpreting every fluctuation.
The goal isn't to ignore useful information.
It's to separate meaningful market changes from noise that encourages unnecessary trades.
More screen time does not automatically mean better analysis.
Sometimes the best improvement comes from making fewer decisions and making them more deliberately.
