My Definition of a Successful Trading Day
A successful trading day isn't always a profitable day.
Some sessions finish in profit. Others finish with a controlled loss.
I evaluate the quality of the day by asking a few questions.
Did I follow my entry rules? Did I respect my stops? Did I avoid revenge trading? Did I stop when my predefined limits required it?
If I followed my process and still lost, I can review the trade and determine whether the result was within expectations.
If I made money by breaking my rules, I still have work to do.
Profitability matters over time, but disciplined execution is what I can evaluate after every session.
The goal is to become consistent in my decisions, not to demand that every day ends green.
