The Difference Between a Busy Market and a Moving Market
Sometimes the footprint is full of volume, but price barely moves.
That tells me something different from a market that travels several points on relatively little activity.
High activity with little progress can indicate a struggle between buyers and sellers. Strong price movement with limited opposition may indicate thinner liquidity.
Neither situation automatically tells me to buy or sell.
The useful question is: how much progress is price making relative to the effort being put into the market?
