Why I Don't Move My Stop Just to Avoid Being Wrong
A stop-loss is part of the trade plan, not an obstacle to defeat.
If price reaches the level that invalidates my setup, moving the stop farther away simply changes the original risk.
Sometimes the market will stop me out and then move in my original direction. That is frustrating, but it doesn't automatically mean the stop was wrong.
I review whether the stop was logically placed and whether the position size was appropriate.
The goal isn't to avoid every loss. It's to keep losses controlled.
