What I Look for During a Low-Volume Session
A quiet session can tempt traders to force setups that aren't there.
When participation is low, price may drift, rotate, or move sharply through thin areas without much follow-through.
I pay attention to the session's range, volume relative to normal conditions, and whether important levels are attracting meaningful activity.
Low volume doesn't automatically mean a reversal or breakout.
Sometimes it simply means there is less opportunity, and reducing activity is the sensible decision.
