Why a Trade Can Be Correct and Still Lose
Why a Trade Can Be Correct and Still Lose
Trading is a decision under uncertainty.
A setup can have a logical entry, a defined invalidation level, and sensible risk—and still fail because the next market move is unpredictable.
One losing result doesn't prove the process was bad.
I review whether I followed the rules, whether the setup matched my tested criteria, and whether execution was reasonable.
If the process was sound, I record the loss and move on. If the process was poor, I fix that part rather than blaming the market.
