Why the Opening Range Can Be Misleading
The first few minutes of the NQ session can produce strong moves in both directions.
An opening-range breakout may continue, but it can also fail when early traders rush into the move.
I watch whether price holds outside the opening range, whether participation supports the move, and how price behaves on a retest.
The opening range gives me structure, not a guaranteed direction.
My job is to react to what develops rather than decide in advance that the first breakout must succeed.
