How I Evaluate a Trading Setup After 50 Trades
After a handful of trades, results can be heavily influenced by randomness.
A larger sample can provide a more useful starting point for evaluating a setup, although 50 trades still may not be enough to establish a reliable edge.
I track win rate, average winner, average loser, fees, slippage, and whether I followed the rules.
I also separate different market conditions when reviewing the results.
The goal isn't to prove my strategy works. It's to discover what the evidence actually supports.
