Why I Don't Judge a Setup by Its Best Example
It's easy to become convinced by one perfect footprint screenshot.
The entry looks precise, the market moves immediately, and the profit looks impressive.
But one example doesn't show how often the same setup fails.
I want to review losing examples, average outcomes, execution costs, and the conditions in which the setup performs poorly.
If I only study the best trades, I'm studying a highlight reel rather than a strategy.
A useful trading method must be evaluated across more than its most attractive examples.
