What Does a Balanced Market Look Like?
In a balanced market, buyers and sellers are broadly comfortable trading within a range.
Price may rotate between established boundaries rather than sustain a directional move.
That doesn't mean the market will remain balanced all day.
I watch for signs of acceptance within the range, failed attempts to leave it, and whether price eventually begins holding outside the established area.
My approach changes depending on whether the market is rotating or trending.
Using a breakout strategy in every balanced session can create unnecessary losses.
