Why I Keep a Separate Record of Execution Errors
Not every losing trade is a strategy failure.
Sometimes I enter late, use the wrong quantity, click the wrong order type, or fail to cancel an outdated order.
These are execution errors, and they deserve their own category in my journal.
I record what happened, the financial impact, and the process change that could prevent a repeat.
Separating execution mistakes from valid strategy losses makes review more useful.
I can't control every market outcome, but I can work to reduce avoidable errors.
