Why I Pay Attention to the Previous Day's Value Area
The previous session's value area can help me understand where much of the trading activity occurred.
When price returns to that area, I watch whether it moves through comfortably or struggles to leave it.
Acceptance inside the value area may support a rotational scenario. Sustained movement outside it may suggest that the market is exploring prices beyond the previous balance.
Neither outcome is guaranteed.
I use the value area as context, then let current price behavior determine how I interpret it.
