Why My First Trade Doesn't Define the Entire Session
Taking a loss on the first trade can change my mindset for the rest of the session.
I might start looking for an immediate recovery, lower my standards, or increase my size to make the loss back.
That reaction can turn one ordinary loss into a much larger problem.
I want every new trade to qualify on its own merits.
If the next setup isn't there, I wait. If I've reached my daily risk limit, I stop.
The market doesn't owe me a winning trade because the previous one failed.
