Why I Review Trades I Never Took
My trading journal doesn't have to include only executed trades.
Sometimes I see a setup, skip it, and later discover that it would have worked. Other times, I avoid a trade that would have lost.
Both situations can teach me something.
I record whether the setup met my rules, why I passed, and what happened afterward.
But I avoid judging every missed trade by its final outcome. The decision should be evaluated using the information available at the time.
The goal is to improve consistency, not develop regret over every move I missed.
