The Question I Ask Before Every Futures Trade
Before entering a futures trade, I ask myself one simple question:
"If this trade fails, will I still be comfortable with the risk I accepted?"
That question forces me to think about position size, stop placement, and the possibility of an unexpected move.
I also want a clear reason for entering and a level that invalidates the setup.
If I can't explain those things before clicking the button, I'm probably not ready to take the trade.
A good trading decision starts before the order is placed.
