What Does a Stacked Imbalance Really Tell You?
A stacked imbalance occurs when multiple adjacent price levels show an imbalance between buying and selling volume according to the footprint settings.
It can highlight concentrated aggressive activity.
But a bullish stack doesn't guarantee continuation, just as a bearish stack doesn't guarantee a decline.
Where did it appear? Did price make progress? Did the market hold the level afterward?
I use stacked imbalances to identify areas worth studying, then look for confirmation from the broader auction.
A pattern is a starting point for analysis, not a complete trading plan.
