What Happens When Price Returns to the Point of Control?
The point of control, or POC, is the price level with the greatest traded volume within a selected volume profile.
When price revisits a previous session's POC, traders may watch to see whether the market rotates around it or moves away.
But the POC isn't a magnet that must attract price, and it isn't guaranteed support or resistance.
I use it as a reference point and observe the actual reaction.
The value of a level comes from how it fits into the current market context.
