Why I Separate My Trading Plan From My Market Opinion

I might believe NQ is likely to move higher today.

That doesn't mean I should buy immediately.

My market opinion is a hypothesis. My trading plan defines what evidence I need, where I will enter, how much I will risk, and what would invalidate the idea.

If the market behaves differently from my expectation, I need to respond to the evidence rather than defend my prediction.

Being right about the general direction is not enough if the entry and risk management are poor.
