Why I Don't Increase Size Just Because a Setup Looks Perfect
Sometimes a setup looks so clean that I feel tempted to trade a larger position.
The problem is that a perfect-looking chart doesn't eliminate uncertainty.
Unexpected news, slippage, and sudden changes in liquidity can still affect the outcome.
I determine position size using my predefined risk limits, not how confident I feel in the moment.
If a setup is genuinely worth taking, it should still make sense at an appropriate size.
Confidence should never replace risk management.
