The Problem With Moving Your Target Too Early
Price moves close to my profit target, then pauses.
I start thinking that the move might reverse, so I close the trade early.
Sometimes that decision saves profit. Other times, it prevents a trade from reaching its planned objective.
The problem is making the decision without a consistent rule.
I want to define my exit approach before entering and evaluate it across multiple trades.
Trade management should be based on a tested process, not the discomfort of watching unrealized profit fluctuate.
