Why I Separate Market Analysis From Trade Execution
Market analysis and trade execution are related, but they are not the same task.
Analysis helps me develop scenarios: price may continue higher, reject resistance, or remain in a range.
Execution is the process of deciding whether a valid setup exists, placing the order, controlling risk, and managing the position.
I can have a reasonable market view and still execute poorly.
Keeping the two separate helps me identify whether a problem came from my analysis, my entry, or my risk management.
