Why My Trading Rules Need to Survive a Losing Day
It's easy to follow a trading plan when the first few trades go well.
The real test comes after losses, missed entries, and unexpected market moves.
That's when I may feel tempted to increase size, take a marginal setup, or ignore my daily stop.
I want my rules to be defined before those emotions appear.
A risk limit is most useful when I respect it even when I don't want to.
Consistency is built by following the process during uncomfortable sessions, not only during profitable ones.
