Why I Don't Assume a Large Volume Bar Means Reversal

A large volume bar can appear near a market high or low, but high volume alone doesn't prove that a reversal is coming.

The activity could represent aggressive continuation, position closing, absorption, or a struggle between buyers and sellers.

I examine the bar's location and what price does afterward.

Does the market continue in the same direction, stall, or reverse with confirmation?

Volume tells me how much trading occurred. Price behavior helps me understand the result of that activity.
