Why I Avoid Making Strategy Changes During Market Hours
Changing my strategy in the middle of a trading session can turn a planned process into a series of emotional decisions.
One setup fails, so I change the footprint settings. Another trade loses, so I try a different entry method.
Now I have no consistent basis for evaluating what works.
I prefer to record observations during the session and review them afterward.
If the evidence supports a change, I can test it deliberately rather than improvising with live risk.
A trading strategy should evolve through analysis, not panic.
