Why a Strong Footprint Signal Can Fail at Resistance
A bullish footprint imbalance can look convincing, but location still matters.
If it appears directly beneath a major resistance area, buyers may face substantial opposing liquidity.
The market could break through, or the buying could fail to produce further progress.
I look at whether price accepts above resistance and whether follow-through develops.
The footprint gives me information about executed activity. It doesn't tell me that resistance must break.
Even a strong-looking signal needs a clear risk plan.
