Why I Watch Whether Price Holds Outside Value

When price moves outside the previous session's value area, I want to see whether the market accepts those prices.

Does trading continue outside value? Does price build activity there? Or does it quickly return to the previous area?

Sustained acceptance can support the idea that the market is exploring a new range.

A quick return may suggest that the move failed.

Neither outcome is guaranteed, but observing the response gives me more context than treating every move outside value as a breakout signal.
