The DOM: Watch Resting Liquidity Change in Real Time

The Depth of Market, or DOM, displays available resting buy and sell orders at different price levels.

It helps me observe how displayed liquidity changes as price approaches important areas.

But a large order isn't guaranteed support or resistance. It can be modified, canceled, or consumed.

I pay attention to whether liquidity remains available and how price responds when trades execute against it.

The DOM is a view of the current order book, not a guarantee of what happens next.

Use it to observe the auction, not to guess the intentions of every participant.
