Keltner Channels: A Different View of Volatility
Keltner Channels usually use an exponential moving average as the center line and ATR-based bands around it.
They help visualize price relative to a volatility-adjusted channel.
Some traders use them to study trend continuation, pullbacks, or changes in volatility.
But a move outside the channel doesn't guarantee a breakout, and a move back inside doesn't automatically signal a reversal.
I look at whether price is trending, ranging, or reacting to a major level.
The channel is a reference—not a complete trading system.
