Why I Don't Change My Stop Just Because the Candle Looks Scary
A large candle forms against my position.
My first reaction may be to move the stop farther away and give the trade more room.
But the candle's size alone doesn't justify changing the risk plan.
I need to evaluate whether the original setup has been invalidated and follow my predefined rules.
If the stop was poorly placed, that's something to review after the trade—not an excuse to keep increasing risk in the moment.
Emotional discomfort is not a trading signal.
